At One Trade Wholesale LLC (“One Trade Wholesale,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we strive to provide accurate and consistent product grading for all mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, and other electronic devices. This Product Grading & IMEI Policy explains our grading standards, IMEI verification procedures, and customer responsibilities.
By purchasing products from One Trade Wholesale, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
Product Testing
Unless otherwise stated, eligible devices are inspected and tested by our quality control team before shipment.
Testing may include:
- Power-on verification
- Display functionality
- Touchscreen responsiveness
- Camera operation
- Speaker and microphone functionality
- Charging port operation
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity
- Cellular functionality (where applicable)
- Button functionality
- Biometric features (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint sensor, etc., where applicable)
- IMEI and serial number verification
- Factory reset (when appropriate)
Testing procedures may vary depending on the product type and condition.
Cosmetic Grading Standards
Cosmetic grades describe the physical appearance of a device. Unless otherwise stated, all devices are fully functional within the limits of their listed condition.
Brand New
- Factory sealed or manufacturer-designated new product.
- No signs of previous use.
- Includes original accessories when specified.
Open Box
- Original packaging may have been opened.
- Product shows little to no signs of handling.
- Fully tested and functional.
Certified Refurbished
- Professionally inspected and tested.
- Fully functional.
- May contain minor cosmetic wear.
- Repaired with quality replacement parts when necessary.
Grade A+
- Excellent cosmetic condition.
- Little to no visible wear under normal viewing conditions.
- Screen is clean with no significant scratches.
- Housing may have extremely minor signs of handling.
Grade A
- Very good cosmetic condition.
- Light signs of normal use.
- Minor surface scratches or scuffs may be visible.
- No cracks or major dents.
Grade A-
- Good cosmetic condition.
- Moderate cosmetic wear.
- Visible scratches or scuffs on the housing or screen that do not affect normal operation.
- No structural damage.
Grade B
- Fair cosmetic condition.
- Noticeable scratches, scuffs, or small dents.
- Screen may show visible wear.
- Fully functional unless otherwise noted.
Grade C
- Heavy cosmetic wear.
- Significant scratches, dents, paint loss, or blemishes.
- Fully functional unless specifically identified as having known defects.
Battery Condition
Unless otherwise stated:
- Used and refurbished devices are expected to have a battery capable of normal operation.
- Battery life naturally decreases over time and is considered a consumable component.
- Reduced battery capacity due to normal aging is not considered a manufacturing defect.
If battery health is listed on the product page or invoice, that specification will apply to the purchased device.
Functional Condition
Unless specifically disclosed otherwise:
- Devices are expected to power on.
- Devices should pass standard functional testing.
- Network compatibility depends on the customer’s carrier and regional requirements.
- Customers are responsible for verifying carrier compatibility before purchase.
IMEI & Serial Number Verification
Every eligible mobile phone, tablet, smartwatch, or serialized electronic device sold by One Trade Wholesale is recorded by IMEI or serial number before shipment.
These records are maintained for:
- Inventory management
- Warranty administration
- Return verification
- Fraud prevention
- Customer service
- Law enforcement requests when legally required
IMEI Verification During Returns
Returned devices must:
- Match the IMEI or serial number originally shipped.
- Have no altered or removed identification labels.
- Be the same product originally purchased.
Returns containing mismatched, altered, or missing IMEI or serial numbers may be rejected without refund or replacement.
Activation Lock Requirements
Customers are responsible for removing all personal accounts before returning a device, including:
- Apple Activation Lock (Find My iPhone)
- Google Factory Reset Protection (FRP)
- Samsung account locks
- Other manufacturer security locks
Devices returned with active security locks may be rejected until the locks are removed.
Water Damage Indicators
Devices containing evidence of:
- Liquid damage,
- Corrosion,
- Moisture intrusion, or
- Triggered liquid contact indicators
may not qualify for return or warranty coverage unless the issue was documented and reported immediately upon delivery.
Pixel Policy
Minor manufacturing variations, including isolated bright or dark pixels that fall within the manufacturer’s acceptable tolerance, may not qualify as defects.
Displays with excessive pixel defects will be evaluated under the applicable warranty policy.
Accessories
Unless specifically stated on the product page or invoice, accessories included with devices may be:
- Original equipment manufacturer (OEM), or
- High-quality compatible accessories.
Packaging may vary depending on product condition and availability.
Customer Inspection
Customers should inspect all products immediately upon delivery.
Any concerns regarding:
- Cosmetic condition,
- Incorrect grading,
- Shipping damage,
- Missing accessories,
- Functional defects, or
- Incorrect items
must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Wholesale Variations
As a wholesale supplier, cosmetic appearance may vary slightly between devices within the same grade.
Minor differences in wear patterns, color tone, or finish are normal and do not constitute defects if the device meets the applicable grading standard.
Fraud Prevention
To protect our customers and business, One Trade Wholesale reserves the right to:
- Photograph products before shipment.
- Record IMEI and serial numbers.
- Verify returned merchandise.
- Refuse fraudulent returns.
- Report suspected fraud to payment processors or law enforcement where appropriate.
Limitation of Cosmetic Claims
Cosmetic grading is based on our quality control standards and reasonable commercial judgment.
Minor variations in grading are not grounds for return if the device substantially meets the published grading description.
Changes to This Policy
One Trade Wholesale LLC reserves the right to update this Product Grading & IMEI Policy at any time.
Revised versions will be posted on our website with an updated Effective Date.
